Far too much setup, gameplay should be in the first 30s, and I clicked through all the dialoge.
Too much story.
Thank you so much for trying out the game. I agree with you that, in a game jam, gameplay should ideally start within the first 30 seconds. However, regarding the story, I intentionally wanted it to be more narrative-rich. I also added multiple ways for players to move through it quickly:
1- You can fast-forward all dialogue, except during tutorials.
2- Every important piece of text that might affect gameplay is highlighted in red.
3- You can skip any dialogue, except tutorial dialogue.
