yeah, I took on a bit more than I could manage with this project. I was going to have on screen instructions for when players start a new game, but I just ran out of time.

This is my fault for not explaining it, but the night is permanent until you sleep in a cot, thats how I programed the day night progression.

I really appreciate your feedback though, and thanks for playing!

Ohh!  That's wild, about the cot. 😂 That makes sense. The realism factor it may not make sense to force a cot to sleep. If you really want to using sleeping, and again I have a different mind so hopefully my feedback doesn't seem harsh, I would incorporate an energy factor, like.. if the speed slows down on the actions of the player, and the player gets a notification: "You've been working 3 days without sleeping. Build a cot lest your character die" 😂 or something like that.  And I figured you ran out of time, I think a lot of people did. With work and life and other stuff, may doing, 9 days goes by quick.  But what you did in 9 days is quite impressive!! Some said they even spent hours on it!  I found myself spending way more time than expected.  The intro is very captivating, but too long for me.  But others loved the poetry of it.  You are a poet, and it came out in the epic draumatization!  You could have a [skip] button for those that don't care, but still want to play the game.  I personally enjoy listening to such and appreciated it, but had no idea it would be so long.  But it was GOOD still.  Just didn't have any idea how long it would be.  Very moving poetry though!  Good setup for the storyline / gameplay :)  I think when it's done, people will really enjoy it!  Consider having the rocks destroy after being mined, because that got frustrating trying mine rocks I already did 😂 Either way, very impressive work and using Gdevelop's 3D engine.  Do you plan to complete the Game?  I would say with the feedback, it's looking positive :)

I do plan on finishing the game as there is a bunch of stuff I wanted to add but didn't have the time. With the cot mechanic, I wanted to add a phantom that would spawn at night and chase you down until you sleep, a mechanic similar to that in Spelunky. Also other things like guide messages for playing the first time, more settings and a more intuitive UI system (the thing about not being able to interact unles you are out of all the sub UI). I also wasn't sure how to make a skip button for the poem in a way that first time players wouldn't just skip it immediately upon seeing a skip button. You can actually skip the poem with the P key, I just didn't put that info anywhere until a little later, putting it in the games description.
