Yes this is my first completed roguelike ever, I've only made a few demos before.
I agree that I should've made the game world more readable, and maybe given more instructions on how to properly play.
The game was originally meant to be more like a milsim, thats why the balance is so unforgiving, but yeah it can be tuned better, I just didn't have the time.
Yes bullets can go through some of the walls. Bullets hitting you from across the map is a feature. Wasn't sure how to balance it but yeah I wanted to leave that in. 
I hope to make a second version for the 14drl perhaps, or maybe come back and polish this game up for a previous release later, really appreciate your commentary <3
Btw the meta game to win is to basically try and book it to the edge, and avoid enemies as much as you can, and avoid their LOS as much as possible too.
