Thank you for taking the time to reply. I am also very happy to see you have updated the rules - I am glad I have at least helped with testing a bit. :)
The playmat was something that I felt would fit the game (it is by no means necessary - the rules make it very simple to play Starshipper with a few dice, a pen and a piece of paper).
