I think a Linux distribution could be possible in the future, I have plans to automate my build process with CI/CD. I'll need to find a reliable way to test it though.

I just use Bottles or Wine for games that don't work through the Itch.io launcher. If those fail, you can try using Steam, add it as a non-steam game and force compatibility with Proton. Although I do agree that more games should have a Linux version, especially with how terrible Windows has gotten.

TL;DR I just use Bottles for this game.
