Will there ever be a getting taller tf? Its a bit strange that the only path in the height tfs is to get shorter. I kinda always imagined Liebra being quite tall due to that one image of her looking down on the character from the throne, but might have just been an elevated platform and I guess the appearance transformation of the overlaped?(don't remember about the official term for them) doesn't need to match the wills anyways. But I do still wonder if there are any plans to ever make an Override tall TF for height?
design wise I approached it as starting at max height and reducing potentially via TFs. While I don’t disagree that there’s some opportunity in what you said, I’m also at a point that I try to be very picky about potentially adding new TFs, for the sake of scope management (to be very picky about it means I’ll resist adding more work to my plate unless I’m very convinced I should. the game still has a ton to do after all)
oh, yes understandable. I only asked if there were plans for it, its not really a priority or even necessary. It just seems like a relatively easier TF to implement if you ever need more TFs. I assume the height TFs don't need extra are assets as all of them use the same model and any potential future dialogue mentioning the TF would already need to consider the height decreases anyways so it just adds another case to those. I guess the most complexity would be incorporating the sequence to unlock such a TF(might potentially be possible to integrate with the final height decrease TF as a potential side option). But its just a suggestion, as it might be hassle enough to implement all the other TBD TFs.
Of course, I am mostly just suggesting this because the final height decrease TF is still in TBD state so depending on how your planning to do it might be an opportune location to slide a height increase TF as an extra possible option if the height decrease TF is one of those TFs you get because of your choices. Of course as its still in development I have no idea which method you will use so it might not be as easy to implement if its going to be an item based TF like with the voice or one of the bodyswap TFs or something more exotic.
Its quite a great game. I found it trough searching for tf games, but I stuck around for the worldbuilding. It has such a unique and fascinating power system. Its really interesting to see how it gets fleshed out and explained chapter by chapter. Its a pretty great mystery even when you get some elements of the world explained it just opens up more questions.
Pretty fascinating to see how a lot of characters need to operate on limited information and how they attempt to survive and cope with a situation way beyond their control and understanding. Really shows off the importance of cooperation and support, it probably wouldn't have ended well for each of them alone even if they had survived. Especially considering what happened to the characters who got in earlier.
Even the wills are quite fascinating how each of them developed their own ways and beliefs to live their unique existence. Each of them also usually having their own slightly different utilization of the power system.
