Happy you've enjoyed it!
For the bug, I've heard about that. I'm trying to dig into it for the next bug update (may be tricky), but one convo I had with a discord member seemed to suggest it might be connected to using mouse controls and clicking on it all.
So I'd be curious if you saw it when using mouse controls, and if you do then I'd suggest avoiding it for the time being.
Interest. Yeah, making it so they can't play again is... technically a challenge. But I might be able to do something where they can't play twice, at least.
I also could've swore I fixed the save element you mentioned before release. So... Ugh... I'll go back on seeing what scenario I overlooked. It should be constantly autosaving throughout the roguelite part. Thank you.
Happy to hear it’s enjoyable in its incomplete state currently. Thanks for the kind words.
Balance feedback is important, so thank you.
Though the conversation popping up repeating… you mean the one that pops up in the corner? It should activate every so many steps. If it’s a specific one looping knowing which it was would help.
The repeating in battle is more intentional because it clears away the changes between the TFs when you get out of a train car then applies the new one with your lesser willpower still there in the new one (Though yeah, only three professions existing so far might make it easier to get repeats)
also saving doesn’t work? It auto saves. So you mean the auto save wasn’t working?
Oh thank you for the kind words! Its great to hear you enjoyed it.
The Photo at IMEA memoir was written by a community member, so shout out to NobleHeroine for her fantastic job on it.
I sincerely hope the rest of the game is similarly enjoyable for you. :D
Edit: Oh, and Eat the Rich is based on if you have a standard status on your character or not. More to the boss mechanics, but that's how that move works
That's not currently in the plans, no. (I'd suspect thinking about the structure that it wouldn't be fantastically viable, either)
My best suggestion would be making saves at those points you want to revisit.
(Though with the liebra ones, they can all be done at once, so a singular jump later on to the endgame chapters when they're all available would go a long way)
depends where you are in the game. Both of those are more advanced materials that’ll become more common as the game progresses. I don’t thing End of Content has everything grindable yet, iirc how I set it up. It’s meant as a way to storygate some of the progression on craftables and furniture. Or at least make earlier game choices on those more substantial at that time. It’s one of those things I imagine will feel better come having a full game
Happy to hear you’re enjoying it!
I'm mention in the patch notes if saves ever break. I try to not break saves when possible. And, at most, I expect it to happen maybe once before the end of development. But hopefully just that once.
For downloading, yes. Any release with a v#.#.0 involves new content+assets, and will have assets you need to download to continue the game. It's a mess logistically to try and make patches in these cases since its so situation dependent, so the game files need to be downloaded. You can then move your Save folder over to the new files
For romance, it depends on the character (will be open that Harper specifically has no romance content planned. That connection is more familial like)
Don't worry, there's a lot of wiggle room on choices like relationships (like the thresholds for stuff is like half the maximum you can get). You can't ruin the relationship either. High affection and low affection will branch into different paths. So you're not missing out if you don't get high affection, just changing which branching path you'll take with their side quests later. For Liebra... all in good time. I intend for most things to be clear by the end of the game.
Thanks for the kind words! I'm happy you've been able to enjoy it.
