"Old saves must be from a safe-zone for import."
It says right there in your own screenshot what you have to do.
Go back to the previous version (I hope you still have it), and make a save when you are on the "Day XXX" screen, the first screen of every new day. You'll see a small note in the corner saying it's the safe zone.
That save can then be imported into the new version.
