Oh, I’m sorry to hear the game’s been crashing on Steam! Can you recall what you were doing – where you were in the game and whatnot – when the crashes happened?
I’m so happy you’re enjoying it so much anyway!

It seems to crash when I start a conversation with someone, IIRC it’s always someone with the green word bubble with a yellow exclamation mark. It’s inconsistent, though, because I can talk with several people before running into it.
Is there possibly a crash log somewhere in the install I can send you?
I’m on Linux; I can’t find a logs directory at ~/.local/share/EnigmaHeartDemo/ there’s a sav directory and a steam_autocloud.vdf
Let me grab the game from itch and see if I can reproduce the error.
Update: Crashed again, this time in combat, still no log directory/file. Hmmm. A puzzle!
Update 2: I ran it from terminal using./EnigmaHeartDemo and it ran for quite a big longer before crashing (this time going from the docks back into town). Most of the terminal output looks pretty normal to me, but here are the last two lines:
amdgpu: The CS has cancelled because the context is lost. This context is innocent. Aborted (core dumped) ./EnigmaHeartDemo
Here’s a pastebin with the full terminal output:

Oh wow. Okay yeah, the program is just straight-up crashing before it has a chance to export a log. That’s disappointing. What’s your hardware setup? I’ve got an AMD GPU myself, but it’s only in my Windows test machine, and the game works fine there. I don’t have a Linux machine with AMD currently set up; the Linux box I dev the game is Nvidia. (I should try to get an AMD-Linux solution sorted out.)
