It was pretty easy to grasp what was going on, and to understand the consequence of hitting the bat box. It was fun to learn that I could use my orbs to look ahead and to find obscured platforms. The length seemed just right, and the checkpoints were nicely spaced. It took me a while to figure out that I actually used my mouse to aim the orbs - I thought they always shot downward at first. Perhaps adding a slight click effect could help poke players to understand that they can aim

Here's a playtest

Glad you enjoyed it! I had such an awesome time watching you play. I'm glad you think it loaded well, I have no idea what's fast or not but I may have over-engineered the level loading system. I totally goofed up with the ultra-wide resolution! I'll have to keep that in mind in the future.

I can totally see that about the mouse aiming. I think a reticle would work actually pretty well just like you said, or some sort vfx pulse around where you click could work rather well too.
