I never finished the original version of this game because it felt kind of unfair I wasn't sure how long I'd have to play it for. But I thought I'd give it another try and I gotta say, there's something magical about it. The quiet liveliness of it and the little scraps of worldbuilding  really draw me in. It's still kinda unfair though, I only took one fuel from the first fuel depot I came across and my fate was sealed from that one blunder.

That thing you did with the selectable versions is really cool. How did you do that? I want to do that for all my games too :)

I'm looking at the source and I can figure it out.

I can totally understand people who haven't finished the original version, it's clear there wasn't enough indication of when it ends, and not enough content to keep it interesting. I'm glad you also think the game has potential!

I certainly plan to keep adding more content until there's a proper loop that makes it worthwhile to come back, as well as make it less unfair by adding checkpoints and a save system. Though I'm working on other things atm, but I'll get back to work on this game soon. I've been enjoying having more opportunities to write dialogue for this game since production of new assets is rather simple unlike a certain 3D I was working on before.

The selectable version thing is a tool I used, made by someone else! You can find it here. Thanks for playing!
