It took me a reeeally long time to figure out that the big guy guarding the meat wanted my stone money. I actually already closed the game and deemed it unplayable, but then I kind of got angry with myself by being too stupid for stone age trading and started it again!
I liked the mechanics, but I think the optics of the ingredients (and the above mentioned stone) were a bit misleading. I have no idea what that one yellow thing next to the eggs was supposed to be, and overall the potatos, that thing and the eggs looked too similar. Once I figured out how to play, I was able to beat the game easily. Albeit the walking animation was great to watch, I would have wished for new customers to appear a biiiit faster (they were probably just exhausted from all that hunting and gathering..)
My first two customers appeared to be unstatisfied with my meal quality, they simply collapsed and vanished - I am not sure if that was a bug or if I poisened them or something?
Overall, I liked the idea and the design, the music was fun and fit the derpy movements and style of the cavemen. With a bit of polishing and some fine tuning in the level of stress (multiple customers, customers that get angry when you don't hurry up, ect..), I think this could be a great little casual game :)

Hi! First of all, thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate your effort to carefully evaluate our project. I have to say, you nailed it! Initially, we really wanted to have the kind of game with a stress factor (like a good pizza, great pizza). During the development of the game, we had some small setbacks, and out of fairness for all the game jam participants, we decided not to go over the time limit. However, you're right; there are some small errors that are easily fixed with a little polish. When the customer rolls on the floor (ragdolls), it's because they're unhappy with the preparation 😂.
We would have liked to have added more sound effects and even more instructions. You did the two preparations correctly; it was just a development error regarding the cooking time.
I'm extremely happy with your feedback and thank you again. I'd love for you to join our team. We're a group of passionate people, and we're all cultivating this passion.
