Yeah, we’re aware of the “bed trap” issue and are currently working on a fix, along with some general polishing here and there. Sorry to hear it hurt your experience.
As for the jumpscares — fair point. There’s more than one way to skin a cat. In hindsight, the feeling of encroaching horror from the past could have been introduced in a much subtler way. Oh well — a decision was made, and it’s water under the bridge now.
