So I'm kinda frustrated with story with a one single thing. its obvious the protagonist is the demon of lust the big wolf prob the demon of pride the bear sloth and the fox prob greed and the rest we know 7 deadly sins and all that cool concept but the thing i don't like about the story is cause it's been kinda long since the beginning till now not a bad thing at all but i wanted him to tell someone the route you choose or something and tell at least one person that he is a red eye. Ik in irl if they killed red eyes left and right and you are in a whole organisation order that it's train to kill them ofc i wouldn't tell shit but thats the good about fiction story you can have trust worthy people in your side. Yeah that's all other than that its good really good.

Yes, the story is very slow about revealing the truth of the demon. It feels like Resnick doesn't trust his companions, but we don't know how long Resnick has been part of Unit 57-H or how deep his relationships with them really are.

We are the demon of lust, we watch Resnick going about his daily life but can't interact with him directly. If someone discovered the existence of the demon, that could lead to someone trying to interact with us directly. So the secret will probably be kept a little longer for that reason.

I agree with you, it would be more interesting if someone found out the truth.

The novel seems to be fairly linear, so there probably won't be completely different routes for this, the secret will likely be revealed to a specific person, or to the whole unit at once, independently of your romantic route (Also romantic routes for Sam and Garrett, have not yet been developed)

As for the deadly sins, a lion for pride makes a lot of sense, and the giant wolf could be wrath. Honestly those two are pretty interchangeable when it comes to representing sins, both animals carry that weight naturally.

The curious things is that, during "Lust" monologue. He said that he's one of the six, not seven. The wheel is also only 6 factors. So Pride might be handle different somehow.

But yes, Black Wolf is Wrath. Ludwig is Sloth. Sam is probably Envy. Edwin is Gluttony. Fox is Greed.

The idea I'm sensing about this game is that our main cast holder of factors somehow also needs to have counterparts of said sins else they'll just be evil. So if the Lion were to hold the factor of Pride, he's gonna be the final boss. Whether if our Wolf Captain hold it will balance out and well have something else. Hmmmmm 🧐. Actually, wolf captain might takes the factors of Wrath to be fighting with everyone else against Pride cause Pride might be the causes of others factors being teared apart and Lust were exiled.

I think Sam fits more with pride. He's always so correct and works extremely hard to be the best. He wants to earn a big name for sure. I thought Sam was rage, until I saw the red flash while fighting the black wolf.

Works hard to be the best and earn big name would also be the drive of Envy itself.

I share that frustration. I hate the miscommunication/ withholding information trope in stories so much! I know that technically Ress doesn't know he has the Demon inside that was made clear at the beginning but he should at the very least share the info he does know for sure. Spoilers ahead!

Like he should have shared that he himself was targeted by the Mercenaries directly. And that somebody wanted to abduct him. He can still say he doesn't know how he escaped. But him trying to investigate on his own is not his job. They have resources and man power to investigate further and more in depth.

Then he should have shared that he saw Red Eyes inside the city and right by the Guardhouse! It is completely reckless not sharing that information. It puts not only them but everyone in the city in danger.

Now comes the more selective truth by the time he figured something really wrong is going on with himself, something demonic. He shouldn't share with everyone but he can and should trust Ludwig with all his info on that. Because first Ludwig already knows the impossible things his body does. And unlike everyone else Ludwig is also affected. If Ress shares with Ludwig that Ress might be possessed he will def want to share with the others. But then he also shares that Ludwig himself might be possessed and then the story might be different. If both are possessed then they both are forced into secrecy because both might be dead if the other Dawn Break soldiers find out. Forcing Ludwig into cooperation and secrecy if he agrees or not.
