I like the "tutorial" could be improved though. I like the moveset, melee and gunplay. Cool that I shoot my goldcoins. cool that the goblins try to steal the coins. nice variety of enemys and enemy abilitys. Final boss was very good, and fitting the theme, finally an enemy where i needed my dodgeroll. I enjoyed the gameplay, and different levels. I also think the balance is really good, managed to play through without dying once, but still hat some challanges here and there.
Some room for improvement:
Would have loved to get at least an Audio-Setting to reduce the music volume a bit. Give me few more music tracks, the one looping all the time gets a bit repetitive. (Finally endboss music was very good)
Melee attack needs a slash sound.
Visually it is fine but there are some Y-Sort/ordering issues with player and some of the environment, and i think the stairs too. should be easily fixable -> set main node 2d to Y-Sort active, and in your objects have the sprite at the right position. Missing knockback, gun and melee attack should have some knockback and pushing the enemys away. Maybe add an enemy which is a bit faster than the player, idk a bat or something, where you need to roll away from and push it back via melee attack.
