So like all the others below, I clicked out upon realising my camera would be needed to play. I fully understand where you're coming from in your responses, it's the core mechanic of the game and there's so many cameras in the world - what's the harm in one more?
I'd say that it's a camera capturing you in a personal setting, most likely your home, the output of which we don't know what will be done with it. Rather than it being a camera we have no control over, we have the possibility to say "no".
I'm not raising this as a negative, more that it is like when people don't include a web build for a game jam and instead only have a downloadable .exe file - it's totally fine to do, as long as you're ok understanding that as a result you'll get far fewer people playing your game.
I love the idea of your game though, and hope you had a good time making it!
