Thanks for sharing. I'm not sure if you can here, but is there any way you could also share this save file with me? Looks really difficult to reproduce.
As far as your game is concerned, if you do Simple Load, you should be able to continue playing. It will reset some things and put Amelia on the Diary space, but you should be able to continue.
If Discord is an option, I would love if you joined and you can ping me @Zingy and I'll help. There is an invite link to the Discord server for this game within the game itself. On the Main Menu, the bottom right button 'Support the dev and social' will open a screen with a link you can click to join
