I read the whole game in the voice of a cowboy, and it felt authentic. I would like even more writing in this game! 

hehe. 


Certainly an unconventional and creative take on chess mechanics. I had a tough time recognizing the bishops, though. 

I liked the pacing of the 'twists'.  I'd play more levels. 


What was your puzzle design process like? The stages seem to have one solution.

Thanks for playing! For the puzzles, I'd try to think about an interesting chess mechanic/interaction and see if I could come up with a scenario where that mechanic/interaction shined. I wanted more multi-step, "plan three moves ahead" puzzles, but those were a lot trickier to design.
