Shooting bullets doesn't seem to damage enemies at all.

Yeah sorry about this. the enemies take 3 shots to kill, so it's either you didn't shoot enough (i forgot to mention it) or there's actually a bug that's caused by it being a web game. I'd upload a .exe but the jam doesn't allow it
