This game is classic case of "went for pussy stay for the plot". I had the similar thoughts after finishing this game multiple times, getting philosophical about my own life.
Yes, she can end game as a little big fish in some marketing company. IIRC the key to that is to be fired by her boss and be replaced by landwhale. I could be wrong though. :D
