Hey Moana, the spritesheet is a PNG file containing all the monsters in a single image. We provide both separate individual images for each monster and the full sheet containing all of them.
They are not animated, they are static sprites.

I really like the outline and shadeing in these, makes them very good to read ^.^
They're around ~48px? Your Monsters have a good balance between many details to be visualy interesting and expressive, but not too many to make it hard to animate :)
I'm thinking about animating in this size.
