First of all, congratulations to the creators, you have made a great game.

I have the following question:

If I flee from an enemy and then return to the exact area where I fled from that enemy, what should I do?

  1. Roll to see if a weak enemy spawns with a 1/4 (25%) probability?
  2. Does the enemy I fled from still stay there? If so, would I have to fight them after resolving the potential spawn of the weak enemy? Meaning, could two combats pile up?
  3. If the enemy is no longer there, should I make a new encounter roll?

It is not very clear to me.

Hi! If you left an enemy on a spot by fleeing, and then return to the same place, you don't roll for another enemy, just fight the one that stayed here. That's RAI, but if you'd like to make your run harder, or if you feel that "fiction" suggest another enemy could join the one you've left here - you can improvise, adapt, and make your own rules on top of the text-as-wrtitten, at the end of the day it's a solo rpg, not a board game :)
