I'm always excited for a new deduction game and this one didn't fail me! I really liked the longstanding grudge angle for this mystery, part way through working things out I forced myself to sit down and think where all of these people would be now based on their yearbook pages and it honestly made me start to feel a little sad for these little pixel characters, especially when I got to the detail near the end of the yearbook with the mention about the twins relationship and then noticed where they both ended up dying in the fire.
I noticed it was a game jam so I wrote down the order I figured everyone out in and how incase you wanted some input on how people played the game, but you can scroll past this if you don't need it lol
My order was:
1 (via appearance)
5 (via name)
12 & 13 (via relationship)
6 (via yearbook story)
3 (via appearance)
2 (via appearance)
10 (via yearbook story)
4 (via appearance - technically assumption as I didn't see all of the clues, and I had assumed they would naturally get more piercings through the years)
22 (via assumption)
7 (via assumption)
14 (via yearbook and location)
8 (via yearbook defacement)
11 (via yearbook defacement)
17 (via yearbook quote)
16 (via yearbook story - very much tripped me up because for a while I was convinced it was a sex joke)
21 (via yearbook story)
18 (via appearance - though it's my fault as I didn't notice the 'toggle annotations' button until I got to writing the report)
19 (via process of elimination)
15 (via process of elimination)
