The dialogue is hard to make out in this game. I raised my computer's volume to max, but that also raised the background music so I still missed a bunch of words. It's especially a problem for the execution scene, since you can't replay that without closing and re-launching the game.
The description says that the player has an amulet that is running out of power, but I saw no mention of it in game. There is a gem permanently shown in the corner of the screen, but no information about what it means. The game did freeze eventually, not sure whether that is a bug or a very unfriendly way of having time run out.
Adding the player to the list of characters after seeing a flashback with them seems like an odd decision. Perhaps fortunately, it is not actually possible to accuse yourself, because you accuse by typing a name instead of selecting from the list, and whenever you type k it opens the accusation screen from scratch. Unfortunately, this bug will also stymie anyone who wanted to accuse Rick.
John's role in the story in unclear. He has the same last name as Eliza, is he her brother? If so, how does that interact with... everything?
With only three conversations in the game (plus intro), having two of them start with "Are you asking, or telling?" seems a bit much.
