unfortunately, I ran into the same problem, but this is not a bug, but a new idiotic signal triangulation system. now, to catch the signal, you need the ping circle to fit into the signal circle. that is, you need to build huge triangles to cover the signal completely and press the enter several times until it works.
It's soooo annoying and infuriating.
*sigh* yes, I know how to build a triangle like bigger than signal circles, I mean... well, the dev just drop new thing just to increase the difficulties of ping process, but it's not a salvation for problem with boringness of the game.
also we have whole grid to build triangles... infinite power of triangles...)
