Finally got around to diving into this from my backlog, nice tight platformer & forgiving to boot? Yes please! I feel like the only thing that could be missing is a Mega Man style p-shooter :P
I did wanna mention some odd behavior items, like, if you're me on the last level & you're perpetually trying to go deathless, I noticed that if I'm impatiently tapping (a) to dismiss the level prompt, it will prematurely initialize the time ticker & the player sprite will only get to start moving 2 or 3 seconds after. It's marginal, but likely a big deal for speedrunners.
Another thing I noticed on the last level is that the 1st crab(?) enemy doesn't start shooting at you if in range while being just slightly off from the same platform. It shoots as normal when both feet are on, but if 1 foot is off, or only slightly off the edge of the same platform, I guess it just doesn't see you.
If I were to request any QoL changes, I might suggest a hotkey/macro input to simply restart a level, as opposed to menu toggling to restart... That or perhaps the ticker/deaths reset to 0 if no checkpoints or coins are collected?
Otherwise thank you for making this bite-size experience with all the lovely accessibility options. I definitely tried all 3 stars in one go for A Tight Squeeze, but glad I ruled it out as impractical when I did, because that one is pretty dang tough just going deathless & grabbing coins.
Here's hoping you have another game in the pipeline before long :)
