Details:
1. Rigging / Skinning
* I manually did the paint skin weights on the character mesh linking the custom Lyra Skeleton (armature).
2. Topology
* I improved some of the topology in the forearm bend area and on the knees bend area for better smoothing of the deformation.
3. Polycount Reduction
* I did just a small reduction of the polycount (about 15%) because the mesh was not too much highpoly (no need for much reduction). Now the mesh has only 17k vertices while the Default UE5 Mannequin has 48k vertices.
4. UV Unwrap
* I did a manual unwrap and repacked the uvw seams of the model minimizing the stretching/distortion
This is one of my recent work. I've been working in gaming industry for 10+ years and have rich experience in gameplay programming as well as artist/animation etc.
