An absolutly fantastic blast back to the past with the artstyle it is just fantastic to see it again the UI, hud and the artwork of the game itself, excellent work!
Though I did notice that when I run around I seem to get stuck in the ground, I think you could benefit adding a circle collider under it so its less likely to get inside the floor as the animation seems to get stuck with it as well!
The gameplay on the other hand is awesome smooth and made well, keep up the great work!
