what's your version of didnapper 2? any other mods installed?
Most recent version of the game posted on itch, I just got a fresh download
Nope, no other mods. It goes through the process of creating the mod like it normally would, but then when opening the modded EXE it's an unmodded instance of the game and in the bottom right hand of the title screen it says the error message
I see, I'm not sure what would cause this, a few more things to check:
Did you follow the installation guide video and set up your patches folder in the same way? Did you happen to use your mouse at all during the process of adding and finishing the mod creation process?
