Unfortunately no, The case is similar in the upcoming Steam demo; your save file won't be transferable. I should have added a disclaimer in the demo-window, sorry about that!
Eh it's fine. I assumed as much, when I didn't see a way to export my save.
Also, I imagine things may have changed a bit from one dev version to the next, so the save might even be pretty buggy :)
P.s. Really looking forward to this. It's always nice to see an idle, or semi-idle, game that does something different.
