There is a built up system that makes reloading less efficient than taking the loss and redoing the entire scene to prevent cheating :)

Sho is meant to be hard, syd has you start with a disadvantage but the odds of surviving for both is still above 60% with max stats, syd being at about 70-80%

With Sho, i couldn't reload the entire scene, because he ambushed me, but with Syd I absolutely DID reload the entire scene. Problem was that you had to survive 2 days in a row (unless you call him on a Saturday). I'll believe that those statistics are true, but they sure don't feel like they are.

Unless you're saying it gets easier if I let Belial reset me instead. Could be that my instinct to reload is a bit too impatient. I'll try rolling with it next time and see if that makes it better. Maybe it saves time in the end after all.
