I really like the creepy atmosphere of this game and the variety of character silhouettes! I think each deal being written differently for each character type adds personality to them which is a nice touch! I also think it was a good use of the theme to have to pay to hide from the jumpscare  too!

The game does feel a bit easy, as I made quite a lot of money, so the fines didn't feel as impactful as time went on, i'd suggest some kind of multiplier applied after each character interaction or when a certain amount of money is made.

Yeah, I really am biting myself for starting so late on the Jam because I had zero time to playtest the difficulty or set up any proper progression to the game. I was thinking that the fines for hiding and making deals would go up as the game progressed, and that what deals you could encounter would scale with what money you could spend, the goal being to make it feel like you're trying to outrun debt by the skin of your teeth. It's something I would've preferred I got across in the Game Jam build, but I'll still work on the game and update it after rating is done to get my vision for it realized >:)
