Thank you so much for your feedback!

The Web version runs fine, but the executable still feels smoother. If you want to try that one instead, its o.k.

I managed to fix the ending and the intro video. The game itself isn’t too different from before, but it should run a little better now.

Fixes:

  • You can finally hear the sounds!
  • Jumping no longer gets the character stuck in a jump state.
  • Approaching the kite now properly finishes the game.
  • There will always be at least one dog. If you get more than three, consider yourself unlucky, those little rascals are tough to avoid.
  • I increased the jump force (just because it felt more fun).
  • The forest is no longer procedurally generated, the game is too small to need that kind of overhead.
  • The grass is now visible!
  • I didn’t remove the dog’s butt*hole. My wife thought it was funny, and… I agree.

I learned a lot about animations on this one. I’m going to add more animations onto my next game. I really enjoyed participating in the jam and want to keep making more games! For the next one, a proper ending, better menus, and even better gameplay are a must. Step by step!

Frama, thanks again for your comment it really meant a lot to me.
