The yelow picks are just score items. The multiplier, the game will give you x2 points if you kill enemies very close to them. About the score tables... I will check later. Thanks for your feedback

I’m on a KS1 Next and played this for the first time last night. I’ll have to check the arcade mode again, but I can confirm there’s no score shown in maniac mode yet you do have a score at the end.
I’m really impressed with the game, but I do agree with Next Magazine that it needs some beefier sound effects.
