i absolutely love the premise + i'm a HUGE fan of death games so the vibes are totally it for me! i'd love to see a bit more player choice, but i get that early in the game there's a lot that needs to be set up first. i do have one question i'd like to gently ask: i saw that you say "some BGs were drawn by [you]", were others (partially) made with generative ai? i'm seeing some discrepancies that make me wonder, and it's important for me to know if i want to support a creator. the bolts on the right, for example, are mismatched. the top on is circular, and the bottom one is deformed. this is not mirrored on the left, and the way some parts are sharp and others blurred inconsistently is also making me wonder

in this picture, it seems the first door and last door have handles, but the middle one does not? Again just something that drew my attention. i'm just seeking an honest answer here, that's all :) thanks!

Hi! The bg's in first 2 chapters were made with ai, honestly I didn’t want to spend too much time on bg's because my main focus was the story, the characters and the cg's. Looking back now, I can see a lot of inaccuracies, like the missing door handle you pointed out. So I decided to actually put time into it and completely redraw all the bgs! In the update with Chapter 3, you’ll be able to see bg's fully drawn by me! From now on, I’ll also be drawing all future backgrounds personally. Also, below is one of the updated bgs from the 1 chapter hehe
