For clarity, I'm playing on the public version, which at the moment is 0.6.0

The game starts of pretty enjoyable, with maybe a few hiccups, basically your first travel takes FOREVER, but once the girls start hitting B tier, it turns into such a grind it becomes frustrating very quickly. At that point most skills simply don't give enough exp. Idle games live and die on a sense of constant progression, and while those bursts of progress can become further apart, this is too much. Especially for the skills that have no way to automate, namely navigation, mining, research, and also refining, but that at least tends to give pretty good exp. Navigation and research in particular feel like they need to give either way more exp, or just require less. Right now every skill requires the same amount for any given level, but I don't think that works especially well. Research also feels bad to level. Once you've made three of a given tier of potion, there's really no reason to make more,  and they sell for nothing, its very unsatisfying. There's the bones of a good idle game here, it just requires a little too much active management on some aspects and a rather serious balance overhaul

Thanks for the feedback! In the next version (0.8.0) you’ll be able to unlock temporary 2x XP boosts. That should already improve the experience.

The potions are worth more than what you get if you just sell the resources. That’s supposed to be the incentive to create more. But seems like that’s not very obvious.

I’m also looking into adding more automation. There’s a big update coming where I try to fix many of the things people don’t like. 😊

Great to hear, I will say I looked at selling potions and it didn't seem to be better value,  but I could just be bad at math
