So I bought the game, paid for it, downloaded the update and everything but.... can't continue past the demo for some reason? I have no idea why. The room seems to be bugged out or something? Literally does not let me continue

That sounds weird. Haven't heard anyone else have that problem but I'll check it out. Meanwhile make sure that you are actually playing the full version of the game. Best way to make sure you are is to extract the full game to some completely different directory and then copy your demo saves there.

P.S the first step in the full game is to sleep on the 2nd floor of the main building. If you indeed run the full version then you should be able to continue the story by using this bed.

I'll give it another try. Worst case I'll just unzip it to a new folder and copy over my saves. Worst worst case, I'll start a new file. Not ideal but not that big a deal.

Moving it to a new folder worked. Was probably some kind of issue that happened when the file was overwriting

Ah, thank god. The copying of the save files is the most safe way to ensure that everything works smoothly. I wish there was a better way to do this but RPG Maker VXA is a bit of a relic. I apologize for the inconvenience. :3
