Does going into the AppData folder also give you no log/persistent files?

e.g. C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\RenPy

If there's an LL folder there, maybe try deleting the contents

I'm so sorry for this error. It's tricky to bugfix because it doesn't happen on my laptop so I can't test it myself

It's no problem, i get what you mean! But i checked that folder, and there wasn't anything in there for this.

I'm assuming that because it wasn't starting up, it wasn't able to create those files?

The only other solutions I can think of would be to check the methods in this GitHub thread

  • Move the game to a different folder to make sure it isn't a path failure
  • Hold shift while clicking on the .exe to change the graphics 
  • Check any anti-virus or .exe permissions
  • Use command prompt to check the .exe directly

I tried all of that (and what's in the thread) and it's still not working. Maybe I'll just try redownloading it later (or try it on my tablet) but thank you anyway!
