OMFG OK WOW. So apparently after you beat day 4, the game freezes and you have to reload. When you come back after the day 4 game freeze, day 5 is there but all my buildings and resources that were there adjacent to them...for bonuses...CHANGED. So now I have no rocks, trees, water etc next to any buildings!  Then I was like, ok well my progress with everything else saved, they just dont have the placement bonuses.  So I continued and beat day 5. Guess what...game freezes and you have to reload to start day 6. And so on. Every day beat freezes your game and rearranges all the resources. The developer didnt remove the procedural generation of placement of resources between reloading the game...to save our progress.  If I close the game, reload, or continue, my buildings are in their same spot but they have been whisked away to a new land and all the lakes, trees, rocks, etc...are in a different place.  Please allow a download, and a real save....AFTER YOU FIX THESE BUGS.  Another thing that makes this game not playable...you need to let us set up our formation and gear before a fight begins.  Thats ridiculous to not allow us to place anything or fix our formation.  I recruited and the last fight began? Also..no one will play if you do not auto remove the gear from a hero and put it back into our inventory when they die.  Thats just insane also.  I lose so much just trying to have fun in this game.  Please fix the formation and set up and let us start the fight manually...and do not take our items and gear etc if a hero dies. There is no reason why I spent 3 hours lvling a ranger and he was one shot...but the healer wasnt?  My God. 

Wow! First off, thank you for taking the time to play this much of the demo and write all this up. Seriously. Even through the frustration this is incredibly valuable feedback for me.

You were absolutely right about the freeze/save issues. The procedural decoration generation and map state were not properly persisting between reloads, which caused adjacency bonuses and map layouts to reshuffle after continuing a run. That issue has been addressed along with the end-of-day freeze problem and a new build is going up now.

A lot of the other feedback here also directly aligns with changes I’ve already been making:

pre-battle formation/equipment management has been improved

stationing and hero management have been expanded significantly

the overall village/map flow has been reworked heavily

run persistence and save behavior are much more stable now

I also completely understand the frustration around losing geared units. I’m still actively balancing the tension between permanent loss and player investment, especially for longer runs and stronger heroes.

Again, genuinely thank you for pushing so deep into the demo and taking the time to break all this down. Feedback like this has directly shaped the current redesign and improvements.
