Interesting results! Nearly a third of respondents having a Mizu as player or partner is wild. I knew they were popular, but not that popular. It's also interesting that you got so many responses that didn't try the urgent quest. I'd expect that 'interested enough to fill out a survey' would match pretty closely to 'finished the main content', but perhaps not.

Can't believe nobody who's never played either mystery dungeon or monster hunter has tried this. :P (Also there's a tiny typo in the played PMD: Gates or Super stat, it's 63.6% not 83.6%. I only noticed because I was surprised to see the 3ds games being more popular.)

Anyways, thanks for doing the survey! Not just because I like doing surveys, but because the Dev Thoughts for each question are really neat to read. I'm excited to see what Chapter 3 brings. (~~Maybe it'll even have the tools for my pacifist spider Mt. Mystery strategy to get to a really deep floor. :P~~)

Thank you ^vv^ Yeah I wasn't expecting the Mizu sweep either, but I guess it is somewhat my fault with people genuinely getting it so often in the Personality Quiz... >vv< And yes, I completely agree- I was really bummed when I was going through a long time where the only respondents coming in never even saw the urgent quest <vv> hurt a bit, but it's important data I guess... Maybe they just heard of it, played a bit, then rushed to fill out the survey! That's my hope anyway, instead of them giving up on it and filling out the survey after being reminded it exists (feel like it woulda been a lot more "too hard, fix it" if that was the case)... I appreciated all the data, though!

I had a friend who tried it with no MD or MH experience- well.. aside from quitting in low rank mh world >vv< but yeah it makes sense everyone's from at least one side. It honestly surprised me someone here didn't ever play a monster hunter game! (And thank you for pointing out the typo, I fixed it! >vv< of course you of all people would find that bug too lol)

It was really fun! I'm glad you enjoyed the Dev Thoughts! I was worried I sounded like I was just being defensive, but I tried to write it in an honest way from my perspective :3

....maybe... lol... are you doing Sleep Sac + Tree Swing? Might I suggest the Hypnotic gene? :3 I never thought someone would do that, so cool >vv< Speaking of Mt Mystery, I did forget to add everyone's hi-scores... but there was only like 5 people who put in their score and yes you were the highest <vv< so yeah

Yeah, it's a solo Nerscylla with Tree Swing to jump over monsters and walls and a tutored Drift Slide to go over water, around/through corners, and down hallways to escape enemies. Sleep Sac is good when it works, and the fourth slot is Bubble Bath to clear poison / exist because I don't have anything better. I think I can guess what Hypnotic does, though I don't have a Hypnocatrice to channel it from.

Anyways, I've only tried maybe 4? attempts of it, and it always fails in the 30s or 40s after something like jump over an enemy -> they still hit with a 2-tile move or projectile -> run away with drift slide -> right into a second enemy that makes the spider explode. It's fun though, you can blaze through the floors real fast when you don't fight things.

But yeah, my high score was with four monsters that actually fought enemies, so don't worry, playing the game the intended way is still more effective. :P

Clever >vv< I always wondered how good those Skills would be for speedrunning- Tree Swing is especially good for the whole going over walls thing! You're playing more of a stealth game at that point lol... maybe we'll have some more stealth stuff later on... nargacuga cloaking gene perhaps... hmmm :3
