I really enjoyed playing. The art and color-scheme are so good, and I really enjoyed the game dynamic of the red blocks that give you the jump boost. Sound effects and the sound are spot on. Also I appreciate the hint of pressing e/x when you’re near the giant caterpillar/machine/entity. First time with Godot? How did you like the experience?

Thanks so much for the kind words! Seems a lot of people liked the art style, so it will be something I stick with!

Godot is my favorite engine I have used so far! I have also tried Phaser and GDevelop, and Godot sits right in the middle with ease of use. GDevelop is a little easier to use, and Phaser is the hardest of what I have tried. Being experienced with other game engines, I found Godot pretty easy to pick up. I just watched one platformer tutorial, and then I was able to find some more specific tutorials on other stuff I was looking for. The scene-based system and built-in animation timeline are really cool. I am looking forward to exploring it some more
