In regards to save files, we don't have control over them. What you probably did is erase your browser history in some way, that caused your browser's local storage to be emptied. As your saves are stored there by the engine, that nuked them at the same time. It's precisely the reason the engine provides an option in the save menu to save to disk, which allows to persist saves outside out of the browser.

So while it is unfortunate you have lost them, pinning your own mistake on us is a bit much.
