Great Job! Very nice game aesthetic, loved the environment and the mechanic. 

Obviously there is limited time in a gamejam so the following feedback is in details and not that the game was bad:

  • It wasn't very clear to me how fast/slow the train was going. if more wood sped it up or how much ice slowed it down. Besides making it a little more apparent to the player, It could also be interesting to add a negative and positive feedback loop in the blizzard. when its close, clearing the ice on the train makes for a faster temporary escape, and being further makes the train a bit slower so that even with perfect play blizzard will slowly reach close to the train again.
  • The trees and enemies hit feedback could be improved. not sure sometimes if the enemies dodged back or if i hit them.

GJ though, very beautiful game! Music also spot on, loved the detail of train beat sounds at the start.

That is one very crazy high score!!! I didn't know that kind of high score was even possible. 😮

Some parts of your feedback we definitely knew. We knew the enemies and trees feedback could be improved. It was actually near the top of the todo list at the end of the jam... But time was up. 😑 Indicating the speed was still on the list as well. 

Making the storm adaptive the way you describe could indeed work. Sounds like a good idea!
