Hey! Really appreciate you flagging this, and sorry it bit you twice. You diagnosed it perfectly: the show calendar wasn't lined up with the late-summer Nationals fantasy we're trying to capture, so qualifying right before the season wrapped felt like getting the rug pulled.
Just pushed a fix that should make this click:
- Nationals are now a fixed late-summer window (weeks 18–20) — the season finale, one real shot at the capstone, instead of an on-demand slot that could vanish on you.
- The week chip up top now shows the season phase and weeks remaining ("Wk 12 · Early Summer · 8 wks until season end") so you can actually see the runway.
- Tutorial + splash reframed as "it's early spring, get the car ready for Nationals at the end of summer" so the whole season has a clear arc instead of an abstract 20-week timer.
