The minimal instrumentation gives this a bit of a melancholic vibe which is really cool.
When I heard your WIP version with just the piano intro in the jam discord devlog channel I didn't realize it then, but hearing the melody on the trumpet gives me some big Nightwish vibes and has really nice heroic feel to it,
If you ever work more on this, just slap a bigger/fuller arrangement on it and you got some real gold.
