The Forever Factory caught me off guard — in the best way. I did not expect to find a genuinely deep RPG in a two-week game jam, yet here we are.
The character models are well crafted, and the main character's design stands out as a highlight. Audio work — both music and SFX — is solid throughout.
Combat feels responsive and satisfying, though balance needs attention. I put a single point into armor and suddenly became invincible on floor 1, taking zero damage from every hit. That's a bit too generous.
I also experienced some lag while exploring the dungeon, which took the edge off an otherwise smooth experience.
On the progression side, I really wanted a way to spend skill points immediately after leveling up instead of having to wait.
Despite those issues, this is an impressive RPG with real depth. Awesome work, especially given the time constraint.
