The Revenge of Pepai starts strong — the music absolutely bangs, the sound effects are satisfying (the jump in particular is lovely), and the movement is responsive and tight.
A few polish issues stand out. The character sprite only faces right, even when moving left — a simple horizontal flip would go a long way. I also spent longer than I'd like to admit before discovering the double jump; a quick hint or tutorial pop-up would help. A combo counter on the UI would add some nice feedback for skilled play, and volume sliders are always appreciated.
Despite those rough edges, this is a pleasant platformer with good bones.
