I hesitated for a long time, but I want to share what this game is really about. The intent of this game is a story where you slip on a banana peel and end up traveling through time. That brief moment isn't perceived by the player, which is why the scene transitions so quickly. Even if your base falls at the start, you stay trapped in that time loop until you win, returning to right before you slipped. Since you can't bring memories back from the previous loop, you slip on the banana peel again with no idea what happened, and the time loop begins.
And here's the most important design: every time you lose, the enemy's max HP decreases by 10%. This is the design that makes it so that as long as you don't give up, you can't help but eventually clear the game.
One of my design philosophies is "show, don't tell," and it seems I failed at it this time. That's a shame. Thank you all so much for the great feedback.
