I've heard these guys referred to as bunnies, cats, totems, spirits, even turnips .... haha. Glad you enjoyed secret hunting.
Lol. What were they supposed to be? or did you leave it for the player to interpret?
I thought of them as cats during development, but they do kinda hop up and down.
