Hello! love the game but can someone please tell me why i cant upgrade my cells? :( i researched cell upgrades already and i have enough resources, but it still wont let me
Hi! Sorry to hear you're having trouble.
If you're on your first hive, then I'd guess that you don't have the requisite non-upgraded cells where you're trying to build. Upgraded Workshops require a single non-upgraded cell, Upgraded Barracks need 2, Upgraded Map Rooms need 3, Upgraded Nurseries need 4, and upgraded storage cells need 7. You can see the shape required shown on the right of the cost panel (in the image below, the blue cell is correct, but the red cells do not have non-upgraded Nurseries beneath them). You can also se a preview of the upgraded cell in the Beepedia.
The 3D build preview in the world will be blue when everything is good to go. If you have the right number and shape of non-upgraded cells, but the build preview is in the wrong place, I recently made it so that you can use the little hex grid on the right of the build cost panel to reposition without having to click on another cell to build.
